Are ERP systems helping reduce costs?: An Aberdeen Group Report

In the face of rising energy costs and a fear of a global economic downturn, reducing costs is a top priority for today’s mid-size companies as they develop their ERP strategies. Yet, in order to preserve revenue streams and market share, cost reductions cannot come at the expense of customer service. This report explores feedback from over 500 mid-size companies, and aims to serve as a roadmap to those that desire to reduce costs, and improve accuracy and delivery performance.

Sage ERP X3: Helping You Do More with Less

Providing mid-sized companies with the best functionality in their industry, while dramatically reducing the costs usually associated with ERP systems, has been the base roadmap for Sage ERP X3’s successive releases for almost a decade. The result is one of the most cost-effective and coherent ERP packages for mid-sized businesses, integrating best-of-class features in accounting and financial management, sales, purchasing, inventory management and manufacturing.

Customer Spotlight

"With our legacy system, we couldn't easily assess the financial impact of the manpower it took to fulfill orders. Knowing these costs has helped us identify cost improvement areas."

Dan Schildge, Vice President CRP Industries, Inc., Carteret, NJ

“Aceto is better managing its inventory, tracking foreign exchange costs and controlling credit and order approvals.”

Terry Steinberg, Vice President and CIO Aceto Corporation, Lake Success, NY

“We saw the potential that Sage ERP X3's technically advanced architecture would provide for us on into the future, especially the flexibility to move to a browser-based user interface at any time and at no extra cost, which would allow our customers to more easily connect to us in a collaborative arrangement.”

Marc Lefebvre, Vice President and CIO Ganong Bros. Ltd., St. Stephen, NB, Canada
